So, Tom ends up knocking on the door and giving Jerry the wad of money from the Jerry Dinner, explaining that every time one of them thought something mean, they put a dollar in the box. They're personal, sweet and kind, and it's the moment they kind of realize that they've been jerks all this time. ![]() And then they all start reading through the emails from Jerry that they never read before. Outside, Tom has a realization that the "Jerry filter" he set up for all their emails (which sends all emails from Jerry straight to "spam") is why they didn't get their invitations to the Christmas party. Ben can't wrap his head around how those two are a couple and Chris senses this and says, "No, there's no good explanation." Ta-da: she's beautiful and nice (and played by Christie Brinkley!). And Ben meets Jerry's wife for the first time. Meanwhile, Chris and Ben are talking about how much Chris's constant therapy seems to have helped him. After Donna points out that she was coming to get him to take him to dinner, Ann allows Donna into the house and tells the others they have to do something nice for Jerry to get into the party. When they do, she explains that Jerry has this nice party every year and that they can't come in because they're mean to Jerry. They attract Ann's attention, who shoos them to meet her over by the back door. They call Ron, since it's his car, and when Ron asks about a passenger and the cop looks confused, Ron hears the muffled sounds from the trunk and lets Leslie out. ![]() Where she's discovered the next day after Tammy is pulled over by police for driving erratically. After a tussle in a dumpster over the keys, Tammy emerges victorious (score one for the librarians!) and takes off with Leslie in the trunk. Meanwhile, Tammy manages to get Leslie to stop the car and let her out. If they knew she was Xena, they'd step off quick. He dedicates his first song to "his Duchess" and the Duke fans are jealous and threatening to Diane. He then goes up on stage and reveals his Duke Silver alter ego. The post-awards celebration is Ron taking Diane to a jazz club, explaining that as close as he and Leslie are, there are still lots of things about him that Leslie doesn't know, including what she's about to see next. Leslie still decides it will be she who gives Ron and Diane a break from Tammy and uses Ron's car to kidnap Tammy and keep her occupied while Diane and Ron go out for a post-awards celebration. Leslie assures her that there never has been, nor will be, the slightest bit of romance in her relationship with Ron and anyway she's happily engaged to Ben. Diane gets a great line about how she's a middle school vice-principal, so she's used to dealing with "hormonal psychopaths." What Diane is worried about is the relationship between Ron and Leslie. After the ceremony is over, Leslie explains to Diane that she'll intercept Tammy so that Tammy can't hurt what Diane and Ron have going.
